wanted to try something natural and organic on my hair...had high hopes this would be a good product. its pretty watery when you put it on, but you can see it being absorbed into your hair. maybe its a good leave in conditioner,but ill never know because i was so taken aback by the smell! very strong smelling of house hold cleaning products. i couldnt take the smell. not natural or organic smelling at all. even if this worked like magic i would not put it in my hair again, and im never sensitive towards smelly products...

I am an african-american 'natural' that presses her hair out. I have tried every product in the book from palmades to wax sticks, to the gel and scarf method to hold my roots down. I purchased this product for my 4b hair. If you have this hair type you really understand how difficult it is to detangle because of its coily texture. In addition, 4b hair is really difficult to soften. Therefore after washing and conditioning, I applied this product and it really made my hair soft, and hydrated. I am going to purchase two more bottles and hope they do not discontinue this, because it does wonders for my hair.

The consistency is almost that of water. half of it gets lost in the drain, and is not good for my really thick hair. Also. If applied after washing and conditioning my hair, and if left in, it will leave product flakes in my hair. I prefer elasta qp.
ALSO
if you see a picture of 2 bottles, it is misleading. You are only getting the daily lotion......

I had to scour the internet when Wal-Mart stopped selling Hair Mayo, but I found a good substitute. Hair Mayo is the hair dressing of the future. My hair is wild. Hair Mayo makes it behave immediately and it's non-oily to the touch after it's been applied. I would recommend this brand.
