I have long brown hair with blond highlights. I'm 52, and over the years my hair has thinned. This product totally takes away the shiny scalp (that I would ALWAYS notice, and would freak me out a bit). I tried another product that you put on with a brush (much like eyebrow powder), and it was much harder to use, and see where you were putting it. I would end up with dark marks on my scalp.
With this product, I just shake it where my part is, tap it into my hair a bit, and follow with my own hair spray. It takes seconds! Awesome! I'm trying to only wash my hair every other day, so I only use the product every other day. It lasts! This product has allowed me to extend coloring my roots, which in turn...saves me money! I like that. : Even took this up to Northern Wisconsin when we vacationed...I like it that much!
