Spring Valley Biotin Review
This is not a product review...biotin is supposed to really work! This is about where you should BUY this product. On a recent girl's beach trip I read in a magazine that you need 2.5 mg daily of biotin to improve nails. This bottle of Biotin contains 1000 mcg tables (which converts to 1 mg), so you would need 2 1/2 tablets daily to get 2.5 mg. I just ran to Walmart to check out their price, because I knew they carried Spring Valley vitamins. Walmart's price is only $2.94 for the exact same bottle of biotin. This is a two month supply, if you take the minimum daily dosage of 2.5 mg. Amazon.com usually has great deals, but not this time. In their defense, it's not sold by Amazon, just fulfilled by Amazon...maybe that makes a difference. (By the way, the tables are scored and it's very easy to break in half.)
